Taser and Monty, two of Belleville's Mounted Patrol horses, help participants at the Bike Rodeo learn to look both ways before crossing a street with traffic.
The Belleville Police Department hosted a Bike Rodeo on June 4th. Participants learned about bicycle safety, received t-shirts and bike helmets and there was a professional on hand to inspect their bicycles. Mounted Patrol horses Monty and Taser appeared as well, simulating traffic on one of the courses.
