Shepherd of the Hills Offers Pantry Hours Inside During Winter Months

January 5, 2023

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, located at 506 12th Avenue in New Glarus, provides a free outdoor “Food Pantry” that we lovingly call the “Blessing Box”. The pantry, located near the exit of Shepherd’s driveway, provides a convenient service to those who may be in need. The great part is that there are no “hours”, it is always open. The sad part is that during the winter months, the pantry can only be filled with items that will not freeze, so no liquids or canned goods.

Beginning January 7, 2023, Shepherd of the Hills will offer specific hours inside for anyone who would like to come in and choose from what we have to offer. If there is a response in January, we will continue the hours below through March.

Saturdays January 7th, February 4th and March 4th, 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.; and Fridays January 20th, February 17th and March 17th, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

We have a great membership who helps provide for the pantry and we have been blessed with donations from others in the community. If you have any questions, please contact Conni Bigler at clbigler@gmail.com.

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED, BRING WHAT YOU CAN AND KNOW YOU ARE BLESSED!
