Russ Hefty gave a talk and tour of the rain gardens on his property in Belleville on July 27th. His yard contains about 200 species of native plants in the gardens he designed and installed in 2015. Russ is currently the chair of the Wildlife Resources Committee for the Village of Belleville. He formerly was the Conservation Supervisor at the City of Madison Parks.
