Back in the United States

Pfc. Robert Gmur, who has been a German prisoner for more than a year, has landed in New York, according to telegram received yesterday afternoon by his mother, Mrs. Charles Gehrig. No doubt he can be expected home on a 60-day furlough in a day or two.

S/Sgt. Rhodes is Liberated

Mrs. William Rhodes, the former Ruth Itten of Madison, on Monday received word that her husband, S/Sgt. Rhodes, a German prisoner of war, has been freed.
