Pvt. Kenneth Halverson, Fort Meade, Maryland, is home on a 15-day furlough.

His parents have received word that Pfc. Neal Marty, who has been in the Pacific for some time, is on board ship and expects to return home in a few weeks.

Allen Gilden, son of Mr. And Mrs. Ernest Gilden, Mt. Vernon, has enlisted in the Corps of Military Police Service of the regular Army for three years, to serve in the European theater of operations. He had been employed at Waukesha.
