Four students of Paul Burk at Monticello High School placed in the top three for their grade level in this year's Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation, Inc., (PFFWCF) Fire Safety Newspapers in Education poster contest. Over 350 entries to the poster contest were received this year.

The Monticello students who placed are: Brayden Ryan - 1st Place - 11th grade; Katelyn Eyler - 2nd Place - 11th grade; Angela Cash - 2nd Place - 10th grade; and Grace Seffrood - 3rd Place - 10th grade.
