Green County Fall Nationals Presents Donations for Shop With a Cop

On a normal year, our area Sheriff's Office and Police Departments host "Shop With a Cop", where several local children are picked up and taken on a shopping spree. Sadly, due to COVID-19, things look different in 2020. This year there will be no rides in a police car, but all is not lost! Instead our Sheriff's Office and Police Departments will be delivering gifts to local kids at their homes. This year, we were unable to take the children to McDonald's after Shop With Cop at Walmart. Green County Fall Nationals is partnering with the police departments by adding to those gifts by providing $1,000.00. Each child received a $10.00 gift certificates for McDonald's.
