The staff at Federal Industries and members of the Pec Valley ATVers club joined forces to raise donations for local food pantries, including the Belleville Food Pantry.

Federal's parent company, Standex International, encourages community outreach through its Standex Cares program. Todd Hanson and Darin Erickson, who are employees at Federal and members of the Pec Valley ATVers, decided to have a friendly competition among divisions to see which division would have the most donations. The employees also challenged the management of Federal to match the donation.

"The employees bought in more than 80 boxes of cereal and raised more than $600 in cash," explained Stacy Rendmeister, Human Resource Manager.

The Pec Valley ATVers is a club from the Blanchardville, Argyle, and Hollandale area.

"We are a non-profit club that raises money for new ATV or UTV routes and money for different functions and organizations," explained Todd Hanson. "This year, our only ride focused on the pandemic and we raised money for local food pantries."

The group intends to continue community outreach starting again in January 2021.
