Dear Editor and New Glarus Area Blood Donors,

A huge Thank You to all of you helping for helping us to achieve a very successful Blood Drive on the 7th. We really regret that some of you without appointments were turned away due to the rules in place to keep everyone safe during these “Covid” times. You all rock too! We were assigned a quota of 66 units and actually came out ahead with 72 units! A truly fantastic Drive! So thank you, one and all.

Sue Moen, the coverage by the Post Messenger Recorder was awesome this past month. Thanks for all of your help. Also Monica, thanks so much for all the promotion in our Swiss Church Spire. Louann Bodenmann and Alice Foster, everyone was very pleased and delighted to see the snack packages of cheese and sausage. Of course there were questions about where are the dessert trays…we are working on that for the Holiday Drive on December 30, 2020.

A shout out to Hoesly’s Meats and Ruef’s Meats for the sausage and Maple Leaf Cheese for the wonderful squeaky cheese curds. Culver’s, everyone loves your “pint for a pint” donation, thanks!

Time to recognize Dorene Disch for her 178th Blood Donation! That is AWESOME!

Bill Kuenzi found one of his former students working the drive! Something like from 48 years ago????
