The Monticello Village Park softball diamond had some much needed maintenance completed this spring. Midwest Athletic Fields added more infield fill, edged, and laser graded the diamond, filling in low spots and making a more level, safer playing field for our high school softball players, summer youth softball and baseball players, and our Homecoming softball tournament participants.

Monticello Schools would like to thank the Monticello Community Club and the Monticello Lions for the financial assistance in the project. Thanks also goes out to Dave Disch Trucking and Excavating for their donation of infield ag lime and trucking and the Village of Monticello public works for their assistance.
