Raiden Justmann

Raiden Justmann, age 19, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 7, 2020. He was born on September 7, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, the son of Scott and Corrine (Elmer) Justmann.

As a child, Raiden was diagnosed with Autism. He loved Disney and Pixar movies, and would sing along to all the songs. Crazy straws were his talisman, they were always stacked in proper color order. Raiden also loved swimming, and was also his mom's cuddler.

Raiden is survived by his parents, Scott and Corrine; and siblings, Anderson, Maren, and Brynn. He is further survived by his grandparents, Jon "Randy" and Melody Elmer and David and Mary Lynn Justmann; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" Rantzow-Justmann.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the Swiss United Church of Christ, 18 Fifth Avenue, New Glarus, WI, with Pat Pluss officiating. A visitation will precede the memorial service from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus.

The family would like to thank New Glarus Area EMS, specifically Chief Kris Mueller, Paramedic Meg Butenhoff and First Responder Kay Zimmerman, for helping with the kids and assisting the family throughout this ordeal. Josh Wescott and Shaun Karlen, who got the back-up rig out the door and for all your efforts that evening. Lisa Behnke and Stephanie Koch who helped to try and calm Corrine on their way back to New Glarus from a previous call that evening. Heidi River and Mary Tessendorf for being there for everyone after the call. They would also like to thank New Glarus Fire Department's First Responders, New Glarus Police Department's Officer Logan Lange, and Green County Paramedic Dan Nufer. Thank you also to Green County EMS staff (Mike and Sarah Olmstead and Macayla Quinn) that covered the New Glarus area which allowed NGAEMS crew time to process. Thank you to the New Glarus School District for assisting Raiden's siblings navigate their new "normal." We can't thank you all enough for everything you have done and continue to do for our family. We live in an amazing community and appreciate all the love and support you continue to bestow upon us.
