The weather is looking pretty good for UFO Day in Belleville, the forecast is calling for sunny skies and highs in the mid 50s. Head over and start your day with the Sugar River ATV Club Pancake Breakfast at Schwoegler’s Sugar River Lanes from 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. For just $7 for adults, $4 for kids ages 8 and under (free for kids age 4 and under), you can eat all the fluffy delicious pancakes you wish (choose from three kinds - regular, chocolate chip and blueberry) along with sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy!

After you load up on carbs, head on over to Library Park to register for the 5K Color Run/Walk, registration begins at 9:00 a.m., and the race starts at 10:00 a.m.

From 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., there will be a craft show at the Sugar River Senior Center and across the street in the Old Library in Library Park, the Friends of the Belleville Public Library are kicking off their fall Used Book Sale from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Make sure to check out all the books, movies and music for sale, which will continue for the next week at the library.

The Saucer Toss at the Dam Bar begins at 11:00 a.m., and they’ll have music by Electric Blue from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. New this year will be a Farmers Market from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on Main Street.

The parade begins at 1:00 p.m., on Main Street - there is a $100 prize for the best float! Immediately following the parade, Ken Lonnquist is going to be performing in the Gazebo at Library Park, sponsored by the Belleville Public Library. The Belleville Community Club will have a Beer Fest in Library Park from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Alien Glow Bowl ($2 a game) is back at Schwoegler’s Sugar River Lanes from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., and stick around for the Alien Costume Ball with music by Ghosts in the Room. Costume Contest Judging is at 9:00 p.m. There will be various food vendors available all day long in Library Park.
