Shown is Monticello Lion 1st Vice President Linn Lederman (far right) presenting fully filled backpacks for students from pre-kindergarten to 7th grade to Monticello 5-year-old Kindergarten teacher Angela Richter (left) and 4th Grade teacher Brenda DiChristina (center). There are 14 of these fully "loaded" or filled backpacks for different grades distributed by the staff where needed. These backpacks are filled with school supplies the students need to begin the school year. This is the Monticello Lions version of the state wide program called "Stuff the Bus".

This is just one way the Monticello Lions support the Monticello Schools, along with giving scholarships and helping various clubs or groups with their activities.
