Alphornman and AlphornKids Splash 'N Dash to be Held This Weekend

The New Glarus Alphornman Sprint Triathlon and AlphornKids Splash 'N Dash will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019, starting at 7:30 a.m. The triathlon is a 1/4 mile swim, 15-mile bike ride and 3.1 mile run through the quaint streets and rolling countryside routes around the village. The AlphornKids Splash 'N Dash is a swim/run of various distances depending on age.
All transitions will be in the Village Park, along with the pool and the post-race pavilion. We hope all participants and their support groups join us for the post-race awards ceremony, featuring New Glarus Brewing's Spotted Cow, hot dogs from Hoesly's Meats and other great food.
The race registration fee also includes admission as honored guests to the Swiss Festival Celebration, Volksfest, at the Wilhelm Tell Shooting Park, located just three blocks from the Village Park finish.
You can register online at http://www.newglarusalphornman.com until 8:00 a.m., on Friday, August 2, 2019. Paper form registration is available until race day and from 6:00 a.m.-7:00 a.m., race morning at the New Glarus Village Office. USA Triathlon rules will be followed for all disciplines of the event.
