The Monticello Lions Club is holding Spring Fling this year on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
The Booster Club Kickball Tournament begins at 11:00 a.m. If you’re interested in entering a team for the kickball tournament, contact Kristi Blum at (608) 293-2453 or kblum2453@gmail.com.
From 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., the Monticello Lions is hosting the fifth annual Car Show. For more information contact Carnie Lipke at (608) 516-2196. Their 50/50 raffle will be held in the entertainment tent after each band (three times).
The Monticello Fire Department Pulled Pork Dinner will be at the Fire Station from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
The Bouncy House, sponsored by Monticello High School music department, will be up from Noon until 8:00 p.m.
Live music in the entertainment tent begins with Rock Rebel Junction from Noon to 3:00 p.m .; Super Tuesday from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m .; and Kings of Radio from 8:00 p.m.-Midnight.
All day long you can purchase deep fried goodies from the Monticello Lions Club (yes – CHEESE CURDS), and the Monticello Lioness Club will also have a concession stand.
All proceeds from the Monticello Spring Fling go to park and lake improvement.

Ford Drive 4 UR School
Beginning at 10:00 a.m. and lasting until 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 18, 2019, Monticello Ford and Ford Motor Company is hosting Drive 4 UR School in the Voegeli Chevrolet parking lot.
Anyone age 18 and over with a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance is invited to come and test-drive a new Ford vehicle. Ford Motor Company will donate $20 per person to the Monticello FCCLA (at no cost to you!), up to $6,000. A little drive could go a long way.
Monticello Fire Department Pig Roast
The Monticello Fire Department will once again be holding a Pig Roast during Spring Fling, at the Monticello Fire Station. Food will be served from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 18th.
Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Hamburgers, Brats and Hot Dogs will be available, either as a meal or just the sandwich. A Pulled Pork Sandwich meal will be $8.00, a Hamburger Meal $5.50, a Brat Meal $5.50 and a Hot Dog Meal is $4.50. Pop and water will also be available.
If you would like to have your dinner delivered, please call the Fire Station at (608) 938-4979 on the day of the roast.

Once again we will be offering categorized maps and numbered signs for your registered sale for our community wide spring garage sales. Registration forms will be available online at http://www.monticello-wi.com under our Spring Garage Sale Events tab, or at the Monticello Village Hall.
It is only $5.00 to get on the map! Registration ends at Noon on Monday, May 13, 2019. Late registrations are not guaranteed to make our print deadline, please be sure to register before the deadline!
