This year's Shop With a Cop event was held on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Walmart in Monroe.

Belleville, New Glarus and Monticello Police Departments have been involved in the Shop With a Cop program for a number of years.

Shop With a Cop helps underprivileged kids have a Merry Christmas, that they may not have had without the program.

The children that are chosen to be a part of this program are assisted by one of the police officers to go shopping with funds that are donated to the "Shop with a Cop" program.

Kids frequently not only pick out things for themselves, but for family members too.
