Monticello Elementary School children collected candy after Halloween to share with military troops. Pictured above is some of the recipients of their generosity. Melissa Babler, an Aviation Electronics Technician with the US Navy and Monticello native, said, "I would personally like to give a big, BIG thank you to all of the elementary students that donated their Halloween candy and wrote such heartwarming thank you cards for all of us over here on deployment! As you can see, we have quite the crazy crew out here...but we always appreciate delicious snacks from home to keep us going thro...
