Oktoberfest 2018 King and Queen, Brent and Yogi Peters
New Glarus Oktoberfest, sponsored by the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce and New Glarus Brewing Company, is always held the last weekend in September. The celebration kicked off on Thursday, September 27, with the crowning of the King and Queen of Oktoberfest, voted on by the applause of those in the festival tent. This year's King and Queen were Brent and Yogi Peters (pictured below). The rest of the weekend was filled with music, fun, great food and, of course, beer. According to Susie Weiss at the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce, the festival went through 146 kegs of beer.
