Shown is Carolyn Schwartzlow (left), of Monticello Public Schools, accepting a $350 check from Monticello Lion Nancy Elmer to go to the Student Assistance Fund. This fund is used to help school children who needs school supplies or maybe later on with hats, mittens, etc. This is the Lions way of "Stuffing the Bus" to support the Districts school children.

This is just one way the Monticello Lions support the Monticello Schools, along with giving scholarships and helping various clubs or groups with their activities.
