Valliere P. Boll, age 84, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the New Glarus Home after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was born on September 25, 1933, to her parents, Henry W. and Phyllis (Freitag) Pauli.

Valliere graduated from New Glarus High School in 1951. On October 9, 1953, she was united in marriage to Virgil Boll at Dubuque, IA, and they shared fifty-one years together. Valliere was a member of the Swiss United Church of Christ and the Stuessy-Kuenzi American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling at Swiss Lanes in the Tuesday afternoon Ladies League, and trips Up North to the cabin.

Valliere is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Fred) Bodenmann; son, Gary (Alexis) Boll; grandchildren, Jamie (Chad) Brecklin, Jesse (Rebecca) Darrow, Dalton Boll, and Devon Boll; great-grandchildren, Luke and Lance Brecklin. She is further survived by a brother, Dennis (Judy) Pauli; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Pauli and Christine Norder; brothers-in-law, Albert (Karen) Boll and Gene Schulze; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil; sister, Janette; and brother, Steve.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the New Glarus Home Chapel, 600 Second Avenue, New Glarus, WI (access via the Elm Dr. entrance). The Rev. Kim Moeller will officiate and burial will be in the Swiss Church Cemetery. A visitation was held before the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the New Glarus Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
