Patches and Petals and Other Local Organizations Show Their Support of American Heart Month

We want to thank everyone who came out supported our efforts to raise funds for American Heart Association this past weekend. We have several events scheduled for this weekend and we hope to see you at one or two of them. On February 17th and 18th, the Vintage Quilt and Linen show will be at the Historical Library from 10:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. The fee is $1.00 and of course we would accept donations in any amount.
Amanda Erickson, HyVee, will be at the Sugar River Senior Center, Belleville, to discuss healthy eating. She will be present from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., we will have wine tasting.
We want to thank Debbie Bongard, EMS, for doing blood pressure readings and showing CPR; Dr. Jennifer Lockner, Belleville Family Clinic, for discussing heart disease and how you reduce your risk, Matt Juckett for giving tours of the fitness center, Kathy Gile for hosting the Vintage Quilt Show, and Judy Bacha for trying to coordinate everything.
A silent auction consisting of quilting items will be held February 14th thru the 28th. We will have approximately 50 items for you to bid on. I am still adding items to the site. The website is http://www.32auctions.com/SCWQSA.
