Green County Piano Teachers Present Donations

The Green County Piano teachers recently presented checks to five Green County libraries. The Green County Piano Teachers presented checks to each of the five Green County libraries and to the Monroe Arts Center recently. The libraries plan to use some of the money in the summer reading program, with the theme "Libraries Rock." The Monroe Arts Center donation will be used to help defray the cost of restringing the grand piano.
The money was earned through pledges by Green County piano students for performing at the Piano Play-A-Thon in December, when 102 students entertained shoppers at the Monroe ShopKo. The Play-A-Thon donations and pledges reached $2,046.
