The Case for Christ movie: based on the true story of Lee Strobel. In the 1970s, his investigative reporting earned him a promotion to Legal Editor of the Chicago Tribune. Things at home weren’t going nearly as well. A neighbor lady had invited his wife to church. Lee’s wife Leslie becomes a Christian. As her newfound faith in Christ grows and is strengthened, Lee is compelled to utilize his journalistic and legal training to try and disprove the claims of Christianity, pitting his resolute atheism against her growing faith. He tries to determine the truthfulness of the Bible by travelling across the country to interview experts.

Join us at Hilltop Community Church at 101 South Jackson Street, in Albany, on Saturday, September 16th, for Family Movie Night. Pizza will be served from 5:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m., and The Case for Christ movie will be shown from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Is there a gap between the evidence you know and your ability to believe? Believing in Jesus can be based on the evidence but it still takes faith. We’ll explore the real evidence for Christ’s resurrection on Sunday, September 17th, at 10:00 a.m., for the start of a four-week worship series. Bring your doubts, your fears, your questions. Pursuing Truth is always worth it. And God is big enough to handle your toughest questions.
