Kiwanis/Econo-misers Bookworms - A New Year

August 24, 2017

The Belleville Kiwanis Club and Belleville Econo-misers will again bring a K4 reading program to community children through the coming school year.

Since 2006, these community organizations have sponsored this program. Seven books are provided and read to young children to foster the adventure of reading. Club members read a book to the class each month. A book is then given to each child to take home for family reading time.

The books are purchased with donations from community supporters including Belleville Chiropractic, Belleville Family Clinic, Belleville Laundromat, Belleville Veterinary, the Bob Smith family, the Brad and Andy Beal families, Cameo Rose B&B, Cate Machine, Charlie's Bark Park, Christen Bros Service, Doug and JoAnn Hagen, Econo-misers, Express Fitness, Flesch Chiropractic, Francois Sales & Service, Hometown Pharmacy, J&M Bar, Kiwanis Club, Mike O'Connor State Farm, Monona Bank, PTO, Prairieland Dairy, the Shane Zick family, Smiles Dental, Sugar River Bank, Corner Café, UB&T Bank and the William Fahey family.

Kiwanis and Econo-misers thank these supporters and the school teaching staff who select books and coordinate reading sessions.
