Ice Cream Social and New Glarus Dairy Queen Crowning

The New Glarus Dairy Queen will be named during the Stuessy-Kuenzi American Legion Auxiliary’s Annual Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
The social and ceremony will be held at the American Legion Hall, located at 1121 2nd Street, New Glarus. The menu includes Barbecue Sandwiches, Potato Salad, Chips, Pie, Ice Cream, Cheese and Beverages. Serving will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the Dairy Queen crowning taking place at 6:00 p.m. All are cordially invited to attend.
The Auxiliary is proud to be a sponsor of this event, along with the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds will help support the Badger Honor Flight.
Emily Streiff, who was crowned as the 2016-2017 New Glarus Dairy Queen last June, and was later selected to serve as the 2016-2017 Green County Dairy Princess, will crown New Glarus’ new Dairy Queen. Emily will continue to serve as Green County’s Dairy Princess until Saturday, June 24, when the new Green County Dairy Queen and Princess are named at Argyle’s Legion Park, following the Dairy Day Parade that starts at Noon that day.
