Belleville Police Bike Rodeo

Colton Haack, Skylar Kretlow, Dakota Betts, Tristan Modoff, Emily Fahrenkrug, Abraham Chavez and Faith Waefler (not in order) all won new bikes at the Belleville Bike Rodeo on Saturday, May 20.
The Belleville Police Department and Belleville Police Association co-hosted its annual Bicycle Safety Rodeo for children Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade on May 20th. The event kicked off at 9:00 a.m., where children learned about 911. They then mastered a bicycle obstacle course. The children had the opportunity to get their bicycles inspected by Budget Bike of Madison. The children received a free helmet.
The Belleville Police Association appreciated the donations from the following businesses: Belleville Auto Body, Charlie's Bark Park, UB&T Bank, Chick-fil-A, Belleville Mini Storage, Christen Brothers, Super 8 – Verona, Bank of New Glarus, Pacific Cycle, Colony Brands, Fire Rescue Supply, New Glarus Brewing Company, Pellitteri, Middleton Community Bank, Anderson Custom Processing, Culver's, MD Group, LLC, Argall Dairy Systems, Pizza Ranch, Milio's Sandwiches, New Glarus Bakery, Dane County Public Safety Communications 911, Mike O'Connor State Farm Insurance, Wal-Mart Monroe, Francois Ford, Belleville EMS, Belleville Fire Department, and Belleville School District. Barb Hillebrand and Beth Campbell donated cookies for a snack for the children.
The winners of the bicycles are Colton Haack, Skylar Kretlow, Dakota Betts, Tristan Modoff, Emily Fahrenkrug, Abraham Chavez, and Faith Waefler.
Special acknowledgement goes out to all the volunteers that helped to make this event successful. They all went that extra mile for the children.
