Come visit the Village of Monticello on Saturday, May 20, 2017, to celebrate the third annual Spring Fling, brought to you by the Monticello Community Club, Monticello Lions Club and the Monticello Chamber of Commerce.

There is a day full of fun planned and it all begins at 10:00 a.m. with several events going on at Montesian Park. There will be the Art and Craft Show and the Car Show taking place from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. If you’re hungry, the Monticello Lioness’ Food Stand will be serving delicious food from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., and the insanely popular Monticello Lions Cheese Curds and Mushroom Stand will be open from 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., or stop down at the Fire Station for their annual Pig Roast from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. If you’re looking for a Root Beer Float, stop at the Monticello Historical Society from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Beginning at 3:30 p.m. will be Zoli’s Wood Carvings Auction.

There will be hours of good, local music to listen to. From Noon to 3:00 p.m. The Jimmys will be playing their particular blend of blues, soul, funk and R&B. Taking over at 4:00 p.m. is Precocious, an all girl band from Green County, covering a variety of artists and genres, who will play until 7:00 p.m. Then at 8:00 p.m., Cherry Pie takes the stage until Midnight, playing all of the biggest hair band hits and ballads from the 80s, in addition to a few anthems from the 70s.

The Village Wide Garage Sales will begin on Thursday, May 18th and continue through Saturday, May 20th. Category maps will be available at several local businesses.

Spring Fling will take place rain or shine. Please note that absolutely no carry ins are allowed.
