Monticello Dairy Queen Candidates Sought

The Green County Ag Chest invites area girls to consider being a candidate for the Monticello Dairy Queen. To be eligible, you must be a sophomore, junior or senior for the upcoming school year at Monticello High School. The Monticello Dairy Queen is one of 11 queens that represent their community, Green County, and Wisconsin in the promotion of dairy products, resources, industries, tourism and people, especially the youth and youth organizations.

The community dairy queens are required to attend monthly Green County Ag Chest Meetings, give radio reports, and write newspaper articles. They attend area fairs and festivals and promote dairy products. They support community activities, visit many new places, meet lots of people and make lifetime friends.

The Monticello Dairy Queen crowning will be Friday evening, June 9th, after the Zwingli UCC Summer Supper. Candidates must attend the May 15th meeting of Green County Ag Chest at the Green County Justice Center in Monroe. Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Please complete the Dairy Queen Information Sheet found on the Green County Ag Chest website under Queen Program.
