The Monticello Public Library Staff will celebrate National Library Workers Day April 11th; a day to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers. There are activities each day for patrons to enjoy, so come celebrate with us. Pictured left to right are Zoe Buehl, Shari Briggs, Sharon Knight and Carolyn Seaver.
This year, the nation's libraries and librarians celebrate will National Library Week April 9th - 15th. The theme for 2017 National Library Week is "Libraries Transform." Libraries change lives for the better by inspiring us to explore. Libraries have transformed to provide places of creativity where people can meet to share a hobby. Explore Monticello library's website at http://monticellopubliclibrary.org/ to find your next hobby or join us Thursdays for Scrabble, or drop in for adult coloring on Wednesdays. There is always a puzzle to work on when you visit.
