Monticello Community Club to Hold 19th Annual Chickaree

The Chickaree is an event that the Monticello Community Club started 19 years ago, in conjunction with the Lion’s Fisheree.
The Community Club will be grilling 550 chickens again this year. Half chickens will be sold at $7.00 (not a complete dinner…just chicken). These chickens are the same kind of chicken that is cooked at Homecoming.
You must order your chicken in advance. Preorder before January 25th at Gempeler’s Market, Boar’s Nest, Eagle Pass, Luckys Farm Tavern, The Kooler, T&D Bar & Grill, or the Rathskeller. Indicate your name, phone number and quantity of half chick...
