Flag Holder Marker Dedicated

Nancy Finch Burns, Howard Austin (brother to William A.), Michael Nelson, Mark Nelson, and William Austin, members of the Wisconsin Sons of the Revolution Color Guard. The gravestone site is in the northwest corner of the cemetery in Belleville, third row in from highway and about seven stone markers south of the north fence. You can see the 1812 marker and flag, and another flag in the ground as you are driving by on the highway.
On Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2016, the Wisconsin Chapter of the US Society of the War of 1812 held a ceremony at the Belleville Cemetery to dedicate a Flag Holder Marker Dedication to Justin Aaron Eastman, a Patriot of the War of 1812.
Justin Aaron Eastman was born on October 31, 1791, in Rupert, Vermont, the son of Revolutionary War Patriot Captain Enoch Eastman (April 24, 1747-June 23, 1829) and Sara Rising (May 20, 1760-November 17, 1826). Enoch Eastman served from 1776 until 1784 in the Vermont Militia as a Lieutenant and Captain.
