Public Safety Day in Belleville
The Belleville Police Department hosted Public Safety Day on Saturday, October 8th, in Library Park. The weather, which was predicted to be quite cool, cooperated with plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures.
Dane County Bomb Squad, Justice for a Cure, members of the Wisconsin National Guard, JBM Patrol and Protection, Wisconsin MidWest SSRTC, Belleville Fire and EMS and the Belleville Mounted Patrol all attended.
"The event went pretty well, we had a pretty good turnout," said Officer Randy Burns.
The department wishes to give a special thank you to JBM Patrol and Protection for sponsoring the bouncy house. Special thank you also to Burreson's of Belleville, Miller & Sons of Verona, Gempeler's Supermarket of Monticello, Old Wisconsin, and UW Provisions, for the food and soda.
