Monticello Lions Club Treasurer, Nancy Elmer, presents Monticello School District Administrator, Allen Brokopp, with a check to be used to help any elementary children with their school supplies or needs. This may be used throughout the year.
This is the Monticello Lions part in the statewide program called “Stuff the Bus.” The purpose of this program is to make sure all school children have the necessary supplies and needs to have a good year at school. This may be used also to purchase mittens, hats, boots or whatever a child needs. There is nothing more important than helping the young people of our community get a positive start for the coming school year.
