Belleville Community Picnic is coming up August 11-14, 2016, at Sugar River Park, and there is plenty to keep the whole family busy all weekend!

The fun kicks off on Thursday, August 11th, with Bingo from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Bingo not your thing? Try Adult Kickball from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., or join the open Cornholio Tournament at 7:00 p.m. Head over to Community Park to check out the Co-ed Softball.

On Friday, August 12th, Adult Kickball will be from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Men’s Softball will be at Community Park. There will be inflatable rides and games for the kids opening at 6:00 p.m. From 8:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m., the Love Monkeys will be playing at the Beer Tent. Then at dusk there will be fireworks (rain date, Sunday).

Saturday, August 13th, the fun starts bright and early with breakfast from 7:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. At 8:00 a.m., participate in the Belleville 5K/10K Run & Walk. The Belleville Bike Race will start at 9:30 a.m. Kids Kickball starts at 9:00 a.m. and the inflatable rides and games will be open beginning at 11:00 a.m. Adult Kickball will be at 1:00 p.m. All day long you can enjoy Co-ed Volleyball, Co-ed Softball and Men’s Softball (both being held at Community Park) and the Turtle Stand. The Rib Contest will be judged at 4:00 p.m. – there is a 24-team limit. The French Town Road Band will be playing Classic Country music from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Local favorites Madison County will be playing in the beer tent from 8:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.

St. Francis of Assisi is the host of the ecumenical worship at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 14th. There will be a Car Show at Library Park from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., rain or shine. Kids Kickball starts at 11:00 a.m., as well as the inflatable rides and games and the Turtle Stand, and the delicious Chicken BBQ is at 11:30 a.m. While you’re eating your Chicken BBQ, enjoy a beer or two and music by the Greenfield Brothers in the beer tent, playing until 2:30 p.m. The co-ed Cornholio Tournament starts at 1:00 p.m. and at 3:00 p.m. the Duck Races will start. A Free Throw Contest will be held at 2:00 p.m. The Zweifel Brothers Band will play their Polka Summer Farewell Show from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the beer tent. Community Park will be hosting Men’s Championship Softball and Co-ed Championship Softball. The Raffle Drawing will be at 6:00 p.m., and you can end your night on a high note with Classic Rock, Boogie and Blues by Electric Blue in the beer tent from 7:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

Lunch stands and beer will be served throughout the entire event at Community Park and Sugar River Park.
