The 2016 Southern Wisconsin 4-H Area Animal Science Day was hosted by Green County on Friday, July 1st. Area Animal Science Day is hosted by three counties in the state of Wisconsin every summer. It gives 4-H and FFA members an opportunity to expand their communication and decision making skills through judging and great experiences. Other purposes of the event include increasing the availability of educational opportunities in the 4-H Animal Science Projects and furthering youth's knowledge of animals through breeding, market evaluation, and management information.
