Meet New Glarus' Dairy Queen, Emily Streiff
Hello, my name is Emily Streiff, and I am excited to be the 2016-2017 New Glarus Dairy Queen. I was recently crowned on June 9, at the American Legion Hall. In September I will be a sophomore at New Glarus High School. My parents are Matt and Becki Streiff, and I have two younger brothers, Nathan and Clayton. We live on a fifth-generation farm just north of New Glarus, where we recently became a Century Farm.
I would like to thank the Green County Ag Chest for this once in a lifetime opportunity, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for hosting the crowning and ice cream social, the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce and the community of New Glarus for the support of the Dairy Queen Program.
Please join me at this year's Dairy Days Finale, which will take place in Belleville on Saturday, June 25. The activities include: 5K Dairy Days Dash Run/Walk, the Dairy Queens' Brunch, the Dairy Day Parade, and the Green County Dairy Queen and Princess Crowning. I hope you can attend the activities!
I look forward to this amazing year, and I am thrilled to serve the community of New Glarus and Green County as the 2016-2017 New Glarus Dairy Queen.
