Monticello Lions and Lionesses Present Donation to Green Cares Food Pantry

Shown here is Monticello Lions Treasurer Nancy Elmer presenting Bonnie Frederich, volunteer at Green Cares, the check and the food. Green Cares served 257 families (792 adults and children) during the month of November. This is an ongoing project, helping to feed hungry families in Green County.
The Monticello Lions and Lionesses recently held their Christmas party at the Dining Room. They collected 124 pounds of food and donated $495.00 made from their raffle held at the Christmas party.
