The Village of New Glarus, along with the Friends of the Chalet of the Golden Fleece Museum, are pleased to announce a grant award from the Dr. Fred W. and Alice J. Kundert Charitable Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin.

This grant will provide funding to replace logs on the Chalet roof and restoration of four windows in the museum. A recent roof replacement required the removal of the logs, which were rotting and needed replacement.  Four second-story windows are down to bare wood in places, with glazing cracking and peeling off as well.
