Playground Equipment Donated to New Glarus Elementary School

Milo Parker, New Glarus Lions Club, New Glarus Elementary Principal Laura Eicher and New Glarus School District Superintendent Jennifer Thayer with just a portion of the playground equipment that was donated.
In early September, New Glarus Lions Club member Milo Parker submitted an article to the Post Messenger Recorder that noted the need for additional playground equipment at the New Glarus Elementary School. In addition, Parker posted the article on the New Glarus Lions Club Facebook page. The response was heartwarming. Not only did people contact the New Glarus Lions Club with donations, a group saw the Facebook posting and gathered up even more equipment for the Elementary School. The Lions Club, as well as the New Glarus School District, is grateful for the help.
