Public Safety Day and Fire Dept. Open House

 


The Belleville Police Department is sponsoring Public Safety Day, Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Belleville’s Library Park.

From 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., there will be a Squad Car, Fire Truck and Ambulance display, the Mounted Patrol will be making an appearance, as well as the K-9 unit. The Dane County BearCat is also scheduled to appear.

Kids will have lots of fun with the bouncy house and there will be a mini bike rodeo, so bring your bike!

The Mounted Patrol is hosting a fundraiser, buy a square and bet on where the horse will “go.”

Also on Saturday will be the Belleville Fire Department’s Open House, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., at the Fire Station, 33 E. Main Street.

Events scheduled include Fire Station Tours, Fire Truck Rides, Fire Extinguisher Demonstrations, a Vehicle Extrication Demonstration and Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detector Information.The Green County Fire Safety House will be there, along with the Belleville EMS Ambulance and all kids get a gift!

This is also an opportunity to participate in Fill the Boot for Muscular Dystrophy.

Refreshments will be available at both events.
