Kids Sell Artwork at New Glarus Art in the Park

Each piece of art sold for $8.00 and raised $285.00. The children were then given a secret ballot to vote for which organization they wanted the money to go to, and Gilda's Club of Madison received the most votes. Everyone at Growing Tree is very proud of the hard work the kids put into this effort.
Over the summer, the school age children at Growing Tree learned about people in need within our community and ways to help. They visited with several charitable organizations around the area (The Monroe Food Pantry, Ronald McDonald House, Family Promise, and Gilda's Club). The kids then created artwork to sell at the New Glarus Art in the Park. Each piece of art sold for $8.00 and raised $285.00.
