Carey Schneider Named 2015 Lion of the Year

Carey Schneider, New Glarus, was named New Glarus Lions Club Lion of the Year-2015 recently by 27D1 District Governor Richard D. Schwedrsky.
Schneider has been a member of the New Glarus Lions Club since 1975, giving him 40 years of service. He was the President from 2005-2006 and received the Melvin Jones award in 2007. Carey's involvement includes, but is not limited to, serving on the committees of the Chicken BBQ as Chairman, the Pancake Brunch as Chairman, Vision Screening, Eyeglass Collection, and is a frequent volunteer at the local schools. Carey is also a member of the American Legion Stuessy-Kuenzi Post #141 and the Masonic Lodge 310.
