Last week, Daniel Fisher and Peggy George called the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce to ask for help in quickly planning a wedding in New Glarus.

The couple from Iowa had been together for around 30 years, but due to some health issues wanted to get married right away. They said they had always enjoyed New Glarus and thought it was a perfect place to get married.

Susie contacted Mel Judd to perform the ceremony. Linda Stolts and Susie Weiss were witnesses.

The couple celebrated their wedding before heading home where Dan was scheduled to begin Chemotherapy on Monday.
