Friends of Chalet Continue to Work for Museum's Future

Last month’s Village Board meeting minutes contained comments by various board members regarding the museum’s future and pending repairs that are needed. The Friends will be discussing their role in safeguarding the museum and its collection; the needed repairs to the roof and the current inventory project at their August meeting.
The Friends are asking people who believe the Chalet is an important piece of New Glarus’s history and can play an important role in the tourist industry to be on hand for their meeting on Thursday, August 13, at 6:30 p.m., in the Board Room at the Village Hall.
