On Saturday, August 1, the New Glarus Fire Department will celebrate their annual FireFest. The festival has a number of family friendly activities, as well as great food and music. Throughout the day New Glarus Fire Department merchandise will be available.
The day will kick off at 10:00 a.m. with Fire Truck Rides for all ages. There will also be Inflatables for kids to enjoy as well as a Spray House and Kids Water Fights. The concession stands will be open begining at 10:00 a.m. and ending at midnight. There will plenty of Hoesly’s Meats bratwursts, hot dogs and other sandwiches for everyone to enjoy!
New this year, there will be a Co-Ed Bag Tournament beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Tournament will be a 32 Team, Double Elimination Challenge! Register the day of the event or call (608) 219-7529.
The New Glarus Fire Department will be holding 50/50 cash raffles throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased at the food stand or from New Glarus Fire Department members as they walk through the crowd.
The New Glarus Fire Department invites everyone to come down and enjoy a delicious Chicken BBQ dinner and music by the Greenfield Bros Band, beginning at 4:00 p.m. From 9:00 p.m. until midnight, will be music by the very popular local band, Cherry Pie.
