Golf Outing Scheduled
The Monticello Foundation is making plans for their 17th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 22, 2015, at the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus.
The annual fundraiser features a golf package including 18-hole course fee, golf cart, dinner and door prizes for only $80.00 per person. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to be “hole sponsors” for a $30.00 donation, and door prize donations are also accepted.
Golfing starts at 12:30 p.m., with a shotgun start, and dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. If you are interested in golfing or making a donation, please contact one of the following directors: Elmer Lemon, Russell Quinn, Jean McMannes, Carol Kubly, L. Linn Lederman, David Quade, Keith Hoesly, JoAnn Cruse or Melody Flesher.
The Monticello Foundation has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to Monticello High School graduates since 1995. Thanks to the community’s continued support, The Monticello Foundation is able to make this all possible.
Recent donations have been received from Elmer Lemon, Keith Hoesly, Michael Klassy, Douglas Karlen, Carol Kubly, David and Mary Baker, David Quade, David Vander Meulen; Memorials from Otto and Wanda Puempel, Roger and Karen Brugger, Shirley Schommer, and Verlyn and Judy Adamson in memory of Janice (Escher) Stearns; Nancy Aquino in memory of Charles Rolph; and Jim and Lisa Ritschard in memory of Calvin Penner and Hank Marty.
