Over the past month of school, several Monticello FFA members became involved with construction/remodeling projects that helped out their area communities. Both Monticello and Monroe benefitted from these various projects, including the remodeling of a baseball shed in Monticello and a playground at Monroe.

The Monticello Baseball Team had a storage shed that needed repairs. This idea was expressed to a variety of students and, over the past few months, these repairs were completed. The FFA members installed a new overhead roll-up door, placed new siding and trim on one of the shed faces...
