New Glarus EMS to Host Keeping the Pulse 5K Run/Walk

The New Glarus Area EMS is pleased to announce we will be hosting the first annual Keeping the Pulse 5K Run/Walk!
Formerly known as the Running of the Swiss, this race will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. The one-mile Kids Fun Run, for ages 12 and under, will be at 9:00 a.m., with awards going to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for boys and girls; and the 5K Run/Walk will begin shortly after at 9:30 a.m., with awards going to 1st and 2nd place men and women.
Anyone interested can register online at http://www.active.com/new-glarus-wi/running/keeping-the-pulse-2015. Registration ends May 15th at midnight, after that, t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed. T-shirts and registration packets can be picked up on Friday, May 22, from 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., at the EMS station or from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., at the festival tent downtown.
If you would like to register in person, you can pick up a form at the 40th Anniversary EMS Open House on April 11th, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., at 401 3rd Street, New Glarus.
