This summer, on June 18th – 21st, the North American Swiss Singing Alliance will hold the 41st Saengerfest in New Glarus, hosted by the Männerchor New Glarus. Held every three years, Saengerfest 2015 will provide many opportunities to enjoy music, entertainment and culture as this event brings together singers from the United States, Canada and Switzerland.

There is also an opportunity to become involved on a different level - as a performer! The Männerchor New Glarus is seeking new singers to join our group. This musical ensemble has been a part of New Glarus since 1912, and continues to keep the tradition of choral singing strong in our community. Rehearsals are every Monday night from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., in the Community Room of the New Glarus Home. The only requirement is a desire to be a part of the group. Musical and language skills are helpful but not required.
