Andreas Transø and Alan Ng will be performing a selection of music at Belleville's Music in the Park on Tuesday, July 28, at 6:30 p.m., in Library Park.

Transø is a modern embodiment of the old seanchaí (shanachie) tradition, a musician and educator keeping alive traditional folk culture and history while captivating and entertaining his audiences, large and small, whatever and wherever the venue. Performing mostly traditional and contemporary Irish, English, Scottish, and American folk music, he travels around learning and sharing stories, songs, and dance.
